Debunking notions reshaping mindsets

Debunking notions is an international platform for dialogue, storytelling, and critical reflection on Africa–Europe relations and global cooperation. The platform is founded by Ugandan filmmaker Cissy Nalumansi and Dutch journalist Marc Broere. The initiative brings together students, academics, policymakers, artists, journalists, and community leaders to challenge stereotypes, rethink power dynamics, and promote equal partnerships.
